New Jam Just Found!
So I know that this is a cover of Jay-Z and Kanye Wests song – No Church in the Wild, but I actually prefer this version. Its really rare to come across a cover that is better then the original. I like this so much that I plan on exploring the 3 artists that are in this cover. If I find anything worth-wild I will post them this weekend. Check it out:
Gotta love Daniel
Ok so if you play poker you definitely know about “Black Friday”, if you don’t then in a nutshell its when the DOJ shut down online poker for real money on the three major sites (Stars, Absolute, and Fulltilt). Stars handeled it like a boss, Absolute flew under the radar, and FullTilt had massive fallout. I admit that I have money tied up in the site (not much, but enough that I want it back) as well as a good amount of FPPs that I want redemption for but whatever. We have heard time and time again comments from multiple pros/media/individuals, etc. One person that never really spoke up was Daniel Negreanu. UNTIL NOW! Check out his vlog below about the topic posted last week. He gets into the topic around 5:56.
and I could not agree more with Daniel.

Speaking of Biking…
So here is the second song for Sunday. I give you Bombay Bicycle Club “How Can you swallow so much sleep?”. This alternative artist from England is becoming one of my new favorite bands despite the fact that the group has been around since 2005 and I am just discovering them. The video/song below is one of my favorites. Check it out.

Upcoming Tuesday
So this upcoming Tuesday I am planning on getting footage for the snowboard film. I have been story boarding the shots I want to get in my head (I should probably write them down). I am super pumped for this as all of the mounts that I needed to get the shots came in this past week. Hopefully this Tuesday will be nice weather to ride. This will also help me prepare for the mountain bike film I want to shoot this summer as well. Check out the arsenal below!

Sunday Funday!
So we find ourselves on another Sunday with 0 posts throughout the week. Damn it thepi, that hurts!. I Know, I know that hurts, but I am trying to think of content to post daily that people will actually read. Me writing “yup had a good/bad day at work today” is not going to keep you interested. If you are reading this and have any ideas as to what you would like to see from me let em know. (Hears crickets in the background)
Anyways, its Sunday so that must mean that we have some music forth coming and you would be correct! Here is the first of 2 for the day. The song is called Alive by Adrian Lux featuring The Good Natured. The chorus in this song is amazing, it gets stuck in your head for hours. I love dance/house music. It is probably my second favorite type of music next to Dubstep. Video below. Check it out and turn it up.

Awesome Alternative
Love this song. The video is also quite amazing. If you have never hear Of Monsters and Men then I suggest that you check them out. I guarantee that you will be adding this to your next i-pod Mix.

Friends, Beer, Freshies!!!
Friday night turned into a massive drunk/gambol/break things feast. I would end up hitting a 10 to 1 shot on a beer die plunk, as well as a winning 90$ 3v3 money cup pong game. So all in all it was a solid night minus being tackled and bruising the back of my left ear. Its ok I was expecting to get somewhat injured as it usually happens when I am with my brothers. Saturday morning was another story. Waking up next to 24os? on a half deflated mattress with the sun beating me in my eyes was not a good time. On top of that the room we were in was tiny and our bags, clothes, and misc was all in my way to get to the bathroom. After about 15 mins of trying to get motivated to get up, those special stomach pains happened. Luckily I made it to the bathroom in time.
Saturday was the first signs that we were getting older. It took quite some time to get things rolling again but rest assured they did. Saturday or “Super 6″ Saturday was rough on the wallet for myself. After playing close to 15 LCR games I was down about 1/2 a stack and needed to make some moves. Enter speed quarters. Playing 1 v 3 was the easy part. Playing on a loose sheet of plywood…more difficult. Quarters turned out to be profitable to the point where I was now even. The day remained the same as Friday with gamboling and drinking as usual.
Sunday was the big game. The day started out with beer pong and relaxing. The hot tub sadly was dead at this point. Too much beer/pee was now in there from two nights of partying. As far as the game went, I think it was one of the better Superbowls to date. There was plenty of back and forth action as well as tremendous plays like the Manningham sideline catch which blew my mind at the moment it occurred. I am not a fan of the Giants or Pats. However, I willingly admit that I was pulling for the giants because my hatred for the Pats was greater then the Giants. There does need to be praise to Eli Manning as well. The man went into full fledged “Beast Mode” durring the Superbowl. One thing that did not happen and I am happy for is that the media focused on Eli and not Peyton. I like both QBs but sometimes I thing Eli does not always get the credit he deserves…but I digress.
As far as commercials during the Superbowl goes, I must say that they hurt big time. There were a couple notable commercials like the VW overweight dog commercial and there were some not so notable commercials; like the Coke Polar Bear commercials which are repetitively old and unimaginative. My favorite commercial had to be the Budlight “Here Wego” commercial. It hit me as hilarious and heartwarming as I have rescue dog and she was the best decision of my life to date. (Don’t tell thegf I wrote that)
The weekend was all in all awesome as usual. If you can ever plan one, set up a weekend with a massive group of your best friends, bring beer, bring freshies, and make some memories that will stay with you forever. Special thanks to SC and KC for planning another amazing year in the Poconos.

Countdown to Debauchery!!!
This is one of my most favorite times of the year. Its the week before Superbowl Weekend!!!! Last year I was invited to a amazing weekend with a bunch of my older fraternity brothers. It was the most amazing weekend I had had in a long time. So once again “thegf” and I were invited to partake in the crazy shenanigans that occur. The drive is long, the weather is usually shitty but it is soooooo worth it. Lets face it, it is going to be a long, long week at work. Today was rough, all I could think about was beer pong, LCR, random prop bets, and amazing food. Oh did I mention that the whole weekend is self catered by the people going on the trip, and they are some damn good cooks. So expect a whole bunch of photos and recipes being posted. I made a video of last years madness but sadly it was lost due to a HDD crash. So pumped for this!!!! I am still debating on bring the Contour Roam…we will see…
